Description: | |
This will be an ongoing swap, but you are not required to participate in each swap. You will make two 10" by 10" quilt block for one partner, leaving the 1/4inch salvage (finish size is 10.5 squared). Those in the swap could leave color/print preferences in the COMMENTS below, however, please note that it is ultimately up to YOU to choose what fabric is used for your partner (after all, this swap allows you to use up scraps from your stash). If your partner does not state a preference, it is your choice. Newbies are welcome for this because it is a pretty easy block. Now for the good stuff... Here is the site for the pattern, but it is pretty easy that you really don't need to follow it. It recommends that you paper-piece the block, but you really don't need to. You could "wack and stack", and the angle of the cut does not need to be exact. This swap is designed to use up some of those scraps! If you have questions, please PM me, I do not get a lot of time to check each swap's COMMENTS section. Thank you and happy swapping! We all have lives and let's face it, sometimes we forget to send or get tied up and can't meet the deadline. Please Please Please remember to contact your partner if you are sending late or need more time. We are all human here and I am sure that your partner will understand. |
