Description:

Valentines day is nearing and I just can't seem to get enough Valentines day cards, especially ATC's.

This swap is simple:

  1. Make FIVE valentine-related digital ATC's. They do NOT have to say 'happy valentines day' on them, or even say 'i love you,' but please make the theme obvious that the card was made for valentines day.

  2. You will have 6 partners (if we get that many), as this is an email swap and it's quite easy, and fast, to send emails, even to a large number of people. And it's free!

3, By joining the swap you agree to give your parnters one-time printing rights to the image, if they wish to print it so they can add it to their ATC collection/album. And, you allow them to save the picture, unless they wish to add the card to an electronic album/collection. NO UPLOADING of another persons picture to the internet without the permission of the creator.

Please have a rating of atleast 4.5. NO FLAKERS!!

I will angel if neccessary, but if you do not intend to send your cards then do NOT sign up.

Lets have fun wishing each other a happy valentines day!

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message me.

Hugs to all!

We have ten partners, but must make five different cards? So we send 'doubles' out to two partners? I'm interested, but it takes as much work to create a digital image as a 'real' one, despite being much faster (and free) to mail.

Can we make ten 'base' images and then alter and embellish them digitally just as if we were sending out ten ATCs? Please let me know, as this looks like fun but I don't want to load too much on my plate atm.

masterbard,

yes you can take images (vintage or otherwise) and digitally alter and embellish them in order to make the cards. :)

and, i changed the partners to six, so as to be easier for everyone to complete.

OK! I have created my lovely digital ATCs. Fun!

I would like to arrange them all in one or two files so that they can be printed easily on one or two sheets of photo paper. My partner is of course welcome to cut, crop, resize, etc. and save the images however she wants - but it's much easier to cut from one big 'sheet' and paste into small individual files (in both the simplicity of MS Paint and the complexity of Photoshop, which auto-opens the correct size of whatever you just cut and copied to clipboard!) than it is to 'collate' several small images into one.

I hope everyone understands that explanation, and if you are my partner, please let me know (either here or via message) if that is for some reason NOT ok or you feel that a single file containing six handcrafted images would NOT fulfill the swap requirements. It does not, atm, specify that you must send them all separately.

Please check my profile before responding: I'm neither lazy nor unskilled in digital manipulation, but am doing this to make printing the cards much easier (and less wasteful of both photopaper and time) for my partner.

Regards, Judith

Just wondering what the document will be? .jpg? .doc? .pdf? I am sure I will be able to read them. Just wanted to be sure everyone else can read mine, too. I was planning on sending individual .jpgs that you can all arrange and print however works best for you.

Would a .pdf of all the images laid out on a 8.5 x 11 be easier?

I've been making individual PNG images, is this okay?

I sent mine! :)
