Happy New Year! (newbies welcome~)

This is a quick and fun swap, and another chance for some of the newbies in the group to get their ratings up some more~

For this swap, you will be sending a small package for one partner, to give them a happy start to the new year! Of course it won't actually arrive on new year's day, but that doesn't matter. This will be like a belated new year celebration, hehe.

There will be two parts:

• Make a new year card! Inspired by the nengajo which are a custom in Japan. You could make the theme suit the Chinese Zodiac (2010 is the year of the Tiger, rar!), or make any design you like! It can either be a postcard or a card, whatever you like. Write a little message to your partner wishing them a happy new year!
• Put in a teeny profile surprise. This can be anything you like, as long as it is related to your partner's likes and interests! Don't forget to carefully check profiles for allergies too.

• Check out the Harajuku Girls flickr group for an idea of the style of swaps this group is all about~
• This is an international swap, so be prepared to send to an overseas partner! But since it is small, postage shouldn't be too expensive. See this thread in the forum for helpful mailing tips.
