Scented Melts (aka Scented Wax Tarts) #1

*Partners are assigned, but I wanted to add this note: Though I hope no one flakes (especially with a small number of swappers, please let me know if you have any problems. I'll do all I can to help resolve anything.

I have been searching got a group to swap melts with to try out new scents and e-tailers. Since I can’t find one, I figured I would start one. If this swap is successful then I would like to organize regular themed swaps every month, but taking a break during the warmer months. It should be a great way to destash extra tarts or to gift scents that you didn’t like. Your ideas for themes are always welcomed.

First theme is bakery scents--foody scents like pound cake, apple pie, crème brulee, sugar cookie,etc.

Send a minimum of three melts in three different scents to one partner. Minimum size for each melt is 0.8 oz (standard size of Yankee tarts). If you use clamshell melts, please send two (2) pieces. (Usually each piece in a clamshell is ½ oz.) Melts can be store bought or handmade. It would also be nice if you included a note giving the scent of the tart and where you bought it, if the tart isn’t pre-wrapped.

Newbies are welcome with completed profiles—about me section and two (2) other sections. No unexplained 3s in the past three months. No 1s at all.

Please rate based of whether your sender actually completed the swap as described, NOT on whether or not your like the scents. Everyone's nose is a little different.
