Description:

I've really gotten into making little felt things and I thought it'd be fun to swap little plushies. :]

Plushies can be made out of anything you like. (Can be sender's choice or profile based) Can be a keychain, magnet, etc. Size: should be the size of your hand or smaller to keep costs down.

This is USA only! (I will probably make a international one if this goes well, after the holidays)

Newbies are welcomed with a filled out profile.

Feel free to ask questions! :]

Does this have to be handmade or could we send nice/cute storebought ones?

How do you make a plushie?

Anakalia4950 12/ 8/2009 #

Plushies are limitless! Basic tools; Fabric/cloth (can be from old clothes, of course clean, or new fabrics) Needle, Thread, Stuffing (Perhaps from an old Pillow), and any other accessories you'd want to use to spiff it up, (Buttons, beads, sequins, etc, anything!)

You can make a silouette plushie, by tracing a shape of a plushie on paper, then outlining again with about 1/4th inch space, allowing stitching. You can also make only the body and head, and cut out arms and legs separately, and sew them on in the end. You can make anything you want. Rocks, trees, printers, pandas, centipedes, remotes, states, etc.

Keep looking around online, youtube, or googlevideo will help you with visuals.
