Description: | |
Most of us have at least one Bento Box, from Asia or just a plastic container will work to carry your lunch. But how to make it cute???????? A cute bag!!!! Anyone who can sew a straight line can make one. Below is a tutorial we will all use to create a special bag for our Partner. Or make two and keep one for yourself!!! (Note - This pattern is provided for a basic structure only. Embellish and change to enhance and tailor to your partners profiles! Making it with the vinyl covering is OPTIONAL for the Sender to do.) Optional - Put a few extra items in the bag for 'A Happy Lunch Time'! (Miso soup packets, Asian candy/snacks, chopsticks, make matching chopstick pouch, lunch mat, bento strap or napkin, kawaii stickers or stationary, felt mascot, small containers, food picks/dividers, etc etc etc.) This is a HIGH VALUE CRAFTING Swap - While everything you may receive might hand made of thrifted fabric or hand stamped/dyed fabric, thereby technically no money cost, the time and effort is VALUABLE! Or your partner may choose to import Kawaii Japanese fabric, time, effort and profile consideration is important here. Also, if your partner has a Etsy Wishlist, sometimes you get a better idea of your partners likes. I am going to be very strict in participation for this swap. |
