Let's UPCYCLE! (a softy swap)

Calling all sewers! In honor of America Recycles Day (November 15), let's "upcycle" some old materials to make some cool new softies! Use an old pair of jeans, an old shirt, a pillowcase, sheets, etc. to craft a monster, animal, or whatever. Study your partner's profile and gear the critter toward what you think they might like.

Embellish your softy with old buttons, rick rack, zippers, snaps, ribbon, hardware, etc. Try to incorporate all recycled materials (except thread, of course). Softies should be at least 4" tall.

So, start gathering materials! You'll have 10 days between your partner assignment and shipping day. (I wanted to be sure to get this out before Thanksgiving).

This swap is international and open to everyone with a good standing on Swap-Bot (I'll be the judge!)
