Description:

I've really gotten into making felt tree ornaments and thought it might be fun to swap some of them. This is the final project in a small series. Don't worry if you didn't join in on the others.

This is a very simple swap that just sounds difficult: Edited to make it simpler

Make 3 - 6 foot sections of garland for your partner to hang on their tree (So, 18 feet total). To make each section of garlands, you will simply take 6 foot of yarn/ribbon/twine and attach small themed mini-ornaments on it. The mini-ornaments can be ANY theme you choose- stars, diamonds, tree lights, acorns/pinecones/and wild animals, circles of felt, etc... The mini-ornaments must be made from felt, but can be decorated in any manner you choose from sequins to embroidery, to being left plain if it fits your theme better. They can all be the same theme or each strand could be different themes. This is sender's choice. There need to be no less than 3 ornaments per garland strand but feel free to add as many over the 3 as you feel like making.

Please make something YOU'D like to receive. Try to keep things holiday themed however, try to avoid religious iconography unless you are wanting to work with your person's profile.

I'm willing to angel if need be.

While this is still a simple swap, due to it being a bit more labor intensive I'm providing a bit more time to make the garlands than I provided with any of the other swaps in the series. If you have any questions about making these, please feel free to PM me. There are several good tutorials and pre-made felt garlands available on the internet you can use to draw some inspiration from.

The rules: 1) Must have a rating of at least 4.8 with at least 5 mail swaps. 2) Newbies welcome with filled out profile, however, PM me. 3) No ones or threes allowed in the last 6 months on mailed swaps.

These are simple ornaments and should be light to mail, however, at this time I'm going to keep it US/CANADA only. If someone wants to coordinate an International swap, just let me know.
