Welcome to Writer Bingo Round 2! In the first round we did authors and had seven players. For this round, all of the words are from a writer’s world. :) The game rules: This game has been set up as a swap to ensure accountability. Each player will choose 25 words that will serve as the bingo card. Each day, I'll randomly pull 5 words and call them by posting in the comments section until someone calls (posts) BINGO by completing all 25 words on her/his their list. I'll start calling words on Monday, Oct. 19. Each player will send the winner a profile surprise valued at about $5 (which is less than the basic price of a paperback book). That's the winner take all part! I'll send the winner's name/address to the players. (In the event of two or more winners, each person will receive an equal number of prizes. I'll divide up the players and I'll send the names/addresses of winners.) It'll be a good idea for you to print out your list so you can mark off the called words each day. I won't be playing, but will send out a postcard and prize. I will also send a consolation prize to the person with the least number of called words. :) Group membership and 4.8 or higher rating required to play. How do I get rated? When you get your partner's name, send a postcard with a note. Be sure to put your name/forum name and WTA Writer Bingo Round 2 on the postcard so they'll know what it's for. When you get your postcard you can rate your partner. The actual game will continue until a winner is announced. Recap To play, you'll need to do the following: a) join the swap b) choose any 25 of the 100 words on the list below. Those 25 names will represent your "bingo" card. Post your list in the comment section before the last day to sign-up. Be sure to include the number and the word as it appears on the list for each of your choices. For example: 3) author; 12) journal; 27) editor; 61) genre, etc. c) when partners are assigned, send your partner a postcard greeting via snail mail d) when a bingo winner is announced, mail the winner a profile surprise valued at at least $5.
