August ATC Technique

Sounds like a cool swap, Belle the Cat. But I can't see your doodle; did it not upload, or am I not looking in the right place?

The piece of cardstock needs to be size A4 right?

I'm guessing it didn't upload, will try again, and the cardstock can be anything large enough that you can cut 9 atc's from. I used a sheet of watercolor paper for the first one, 8.5x11" cardstock for this one.

Well.....I've doodled a 12x12 piece of cardstock...I can usually get 14 ATCs from that size, so there should be 8/9 good cards there. This was fun!

I uploaded a pic of my uncut piece to the gallery.

seven out of my eight went to the US - and one to Australia! but d'oh! forgot to take pic before I chopped it up.

Mine are all cut and ready for the post office - hoping to get the full size uncut version printed out small enoguh to send as a second ATC with them too, though.

Just a heads-up though, this morning's free paper said that the post office strikes are going to be 24 hours at the airports, and also some of the sorting offices, which means that airmail's going to be affected today/for the next while. Dammit :(

I didn't realize Rachel had fixed things so you could mark something unsent that you'd accidentally marked sent! Two remain unsent - but those need customs slips so I can't print labels from work. They're packed and ready to go. I'm finally getting caught up!
