I recently challenged myself at my last birthday to take a photo a day until my next birthday. It's been a fun project, and I thought it would make a great swap!

So, I'm challenging you swappers to take a photo a day for one week and share your photos with 3 partners.

One photo per day. Not just seven photos by the end of the week, one each day! Be creative, be random. Take photos about your life, take photos of small details you take for granted, take a photo of the same thing that may change each day (like the sunrise or sunset or which shoes you wear each day)- have fun!

DETAILS:

  • Open to ALL swappers (international/new/low ratings)

  • DIGITAL photography only

  • Photos will be emailed out to 3 partners, be sure to BCC (blind carbon copy) email addresses or email each individually

  • Sent photos should be no larger than 640 x 480 pixels - this is important! If you do not know how to shrink your photos, please contact me and I will do my best to give you directions based on the photo-editing software you have available.

  • Please do not sign up if you have restrictions on your email and cannot receive large attachments- even with the photos being small, 7 will be sent at once (this usually isn't a problem with Gmail/Yahoo etc.)

  • Please watch your Spam/Junk boxes carefully in case your email happens to filter out an email by mistake.

Photos should be taken from June 24th to June 30th and sent all together by July 2nd

Excellent, another free swap! I'm feeling the pinch a bit at the mo'. The week we'll be taking pics is the week of my birthday so there should be something interesting happening to me to take pics of.. with a bit of luck!

I never thought about taking a photo a day.. that's a really cool idea. (to the whole like from this birthday to this birthday 'll take a picture a day thing)... my camera's display screen is broken and it didn't take good pictures to begin with... :( I use my mom's camera but in college, no more mom's camera! haha. SAD.

If anyone who is comfortable with the idea were to post their links here or upload their photos to the swap gallery, we could all see them - or would it negate the idea of the swap if anyone could see them, not just our partners?

A link would be fine, as long as one could see all 7 photos together... i.e. if you use Flickr, put them all in a single album and send that link, so they don't have to scroll through all the photos to find them.

I think if everyone posted 7 photos (on this gallery), it would be a lot of photos to go through to find your partners. It would be nice however, if the recipients would upload their favorite of the week to share. If you are sending out a link, feel free to also share it in the discussion area, but make sure to also email it directly to your partner in case they don't look here.

I messed up and took one on the 22nd, one on the 24th, and one today - the 27th. Life was busy. They're cool pictures, though (at least - I think so). Would it be alright if I took like 2 a day (maybe one at morning and one at night) for the rest of the week to make up for it? Or shuold I just send late?

You'll have enough time to make those days up- just keep shooting past June 30th, and you should be able to still send by July 2nd.
