With Autumn nearly upon us (at least here in TN) I thought it would be fun to have a Samhain swap.

For this swap you will make a package for your partner that you'd like to receive. Give them things that you would enjoy using during Samhain/Halloween. Check out their profile & see if they lean more toward the secular side or the more spiritual side or maybe a bit of both.

There is no money amount, but please send your partner At least 5 different items. They can be handmade or purchased. Found treasures or searched for...the choice is up to you, but you may want to take a peak @ their profile to have a few things be to their taste.

Here are some ideas of things to send:

  • Apple cider packets

  • Matchbox Shrine

  • Pretty Poppet or Voodoo doll

  • a "treat" bag filled with goodies

  • A mask

  • a "trick or treat" morsbag

The list could go on & on. This is a Group swap, so please do not join if you have a low rating, recent 1's or any drama associated. I will remove you from the group if you flake on this.

Please check your partner's profile for any allergies or things to avoid. It would be a shame to create a beautiful package of chocolates, leather bags, and spider-themed dolls to find out that your partner is a diabetic that is allergic to any animal products and has arachnophobia.

How I ♥ this time of year. I'd be thrilled with anything having to do with black cats, pumpkins, or the smell of cinnamon. I'm definitely more spiritual...really I'd be happy with pretty much anything. Great swap idea!

Love this idea. This time of year is by far my favorite.. as long as what I get is sent with love and choosen with good intentions I will love it. The colors of fall are the best part!

I have my box all ready to go. But I was wondering what you are meaning by a morse bag. I checked it out on the internet and came up with a cloth bag with various designs. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks

I like magical & spiritual but I am happy with anything. I love handmade things but cool purchased goodies are nice too.

@ladelraven -- yes, a morse bag is basically a cloth bag...but, it's purpose is to hand them out to strangers.:-) It's a fab program that I love to be a part of. www.morsbags.com

Hi there, to my partner, I love traditional Samhain things, but I also celebrate with a ritual gathering...so I go both ways! PLEASE, dont send me scrapbbook stuff or dollar store things. Thank you :-)
