Dotee in Jewel Colours

This will be my first Dotee. I have gone to multiple websites and I know this will be fun. What is an average size of the doll body without the hanger and hanging beads? I see sizes from 3"-6". I have also seen different body shapes - some with long necks. I really want to be true to the shape and size. Thanks for the help.

I have only made 1 before hosting this swap, from what I can tell, there really is no right or wrong way to do it. I can post a link of a video of someone making one but I think it is more just to show you the steps and isn't a hard and fast way of making the doll.
