Bible passages to read and reflect on this week:

Ephesians chapter 4 (The Key Passage is Eph. 4:32)

Social media resonates every moment of the day with the attitudes the believers of Ephesus were warned against. Instead of jumping on the world's bandwagon, believing and declaring your right to hold a grudge, listen to the way of Christ. Let it go. Forgive. Jesus hung on a cross and took our sins upon Himself. God forgave us, and we should forgive one another. We have no right to be angry or seek revenge. That is a worldly belief that is in direct opposition to the teachings of Jesus. Put away evil speaking as the Ephesians were told to do. Let no unwholesome words come from your lips. Instead, be kind. Be loving. Stand out as a follower of Christ. When the world says you have every right to be angry or bitter, choose forgiveness. Put off malice and put on tenderness. It will speak volumes to those around you who do not know Christ.

Where will you begin practicing this verse: "Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." (Eph. 4:29)

Compare and contrast the emotions and actions of Ephesians 4:31 and those of Ephesians 4:32. What stands out to you?

Did you find anything else in your reading that was particularly intriguing to you? Share your thoughts.
