Description:

This swap is for one bird information card.

What is that, you ask?

Well I thought we could take a piece of 6”x4” cardstock or similar. Decorate one side with a bird and write or type on the otherside information about that bird.

The picture should be realistic so you can see which bird it is - some suggestions are: postage stamp, old card, magazine cutout, cigarette card, postcard, photo, anything as long as it looks like the real bird.

On the back, put the following info:

Common name of bird.

Scientific name.

Location - where in the world would you find the bird?

Habitat - what kind of area does it like to live?

Interesting facts about the bird.

The choice of bird is SENDERS CHOICE, so you could work on it right away!

Send the card in a BIRD THEMED envelope and use REAL POSTAGE STAMPS. Just to clarify what a bird themed envelope is -I make mine from bookpages from an old bird book, or you could decorate a plain envelope with birdy stuff -washi, pictures, stickers, stamped images, fussy cuts, etc. it is up to you. Can be very simple or you can go all out!

I love making and receiving these cards and Im building up a nice collection of different birds! And learning lots!!

SUMMARY: One bird info card with picture on one side, information as described above, sent in a bird themed envelope, card approximately 4”x6” in size.

If you are partnered with the same person as the previous rounds, make sure you send them a DIFFERENT bird info card!

Any questions, please message me. Photo is a burdekin duck from the internet.
