Description:

For this version of a cut and paste handmade postcard swap you'll take one single Halloween themed image from a book, magazine, treat bag, etc. and make it into a 4x6 postcard using a sturdy recycled backing.

This is not a collage, but one single image to cover the entire 4x6 recycled backing (from packaging or similar).

Use an engaging image that you think would make an excellent Halloween postcard, or use your partner's profile for spooky inspiration.

Be sure to use quality images on paper that will survive the mail system. Newspaper isn't a good option, even some magazine pages are too thin and delicate. Use your best judgement.

Keep in mind that slick pages may not do well with a liquid glue, so use a quality glue stick, rubber cement, or tape runner for adhering slick images to your backing.

Once you have your image stuck to your backing, write swap info and message, address, stamp and send naked (no envelope). Write an actual message, not just a stamp or happy swapping.

USA only for postage cost.

Remember this is to be one single image that covers the entire 4x6 backing, not trimmed with a border or collaged.
