Celebrate the shared history of independence from British colonialism by participating in this postcard swap! This swap is all about honoring our countries’ journeys to freedom and showcasing the unique aspects of our cultures. Participants will send postcards that feature something representative of their country—whether it’s a national landmark, a cultural symbol, traditional attire, or anything that highlights the beauty of your nation. As Malaysia’s Independence Day is on August 31st, I thought that it’s a particularly fitting time to create this global exchange and share the pride we feel in our countries’ rich histories.
