Description: | |
Create a greeting with a matching ATC for your partner using the Elastic Band and Brayer technique. Using a brayer, take off the roller and apply Elastic bands. You may add as many as you like and vary widths if you desire. Put brayer back in holder. Take an 8.5" x 11" sheet of cardstock (you can use for both items in swap). Roll your brayer on an ink pad, all the way around to get the whole Elastic band. Run this down your cardstock. If you want to do more passes, do more! If you want to wipe your elastics and use another color or two, Do It! When you have the cardstock design you are satisfied with, cut into one A2 (4.25 x 5.5) Greeting card size (any orientation), and one ATC size card (put on sturdy backing). Decorate any way you like... but please no sticker slapping. Be proud of your creations. Do Not write on card, it is for your partner to use. However I learned that you should always sign your artwork, so if desired, a small signature/initials on the back of the card are ok. Put all 5 swap info categories on the back of your ATC. (1. Your name. 2. Name of Swap. 3. Date created, 4. Swap Bot ID, 5. Title - if you have one. Extra; if you made more than one a distinguishing number for your creation (ex: 3/4). place in protective covering (envie, cellophane card bag etc). Mail on time. Swap posted 7/3/24 |
