Description:

I came across pocket letters about a year ago and I thought it might be kind of fun to do a pocket letter swap. A pocket letter is a trading card sleeve (this has space on the front and back to pop items in) that you put decorative cards and surprises in.

For the front you decorate cards of trading card size (3 1/2' x 2 1/2 ") to pop in the pockets then in the back pockets you include flat surprises such as stickers, a letter to introduce yourself, a recipe, quotes, flat materials for crafting with etc.

Im going to try one and if they get some interest we can do one a month.

The first theme will be "Introduce Yourself". Each of the nine cards should be to do with you, examples for cards are your name, swap-bot name, age, hobbies, favourite books, music, band, flower, colour, quote etc. You get the idea, anything that describes you, let your creativity run wild! They can each be individual or you can tie them together so they match ie same colour scheme. Then flip it over and add flat surprises into each pocket

When you have finished your pocket letter, fold it horizontally so you have 3 rows of 3 pockets. Then pop it into the long envelopes you can get (110mmx220mm). Depending on how heavy and thick it is you may find it goes on a normal stamp.

You can buy the sleeves on amazon for around £5-6 for a packet https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09ZLLSH24/ref=oxscacttitle1?smid=ATPX2QF6735U0&psc=1

If you don't have the means to buy the sleeves for this swap I have a few extras that I don't mind posting out. Please just send me a message.

If you need any ideas this is the type of thing I am talking about... Pinterest is also great for ideas.
