Description:

Who is ready for another PATREON SWAP?! As always, this swap is open for every member of the Craft Club: newbies and swap-veterans! You don't have to be a crafting king or queen: I love these swaps because there are so many amazing people in this Club, and I want you all to meet and get creative! πŸ’Œ All you need is a filled out profile: no blank pages allowed. Feel free to check mine, or someone else's, for some inspiration! [last swap I got some questions: these swaps are for members of the "Craft Club" on Patreon. They're part of my YouTube Community. To see my YouTube channel, check my profile!] πŸ’•

What will we be doing? As the title suggests: we're making POCKET LETTERS! Who remembers those? I haven't made one in ages, but they're so fun and versatile! Don't worry if you don't own any pocket letter sleeves: I'll be uploading a work-around to Patreon pretty soon.

Here's the guidelines:

  • create a penpal project surrounding the "Pocket Letter" prompt. You're allowed to think outside the box! Bonus points if you add the other two prompts (White + Shaker Element) as well, but they're not mandatory. Decorate each pocket, individually or as a whole. You can do the classic 9-pockets, OR make a 1x3 or 2x3 (etc) with something extra on the side. Think: a decorated matchbook/pocket/sleeve for your pocket letter with some goodies and your letter, for example.

    • fill it with some goodies, handmade or store-bought. Think of tea, stickers, die-cuts, wax seals, doilies, tags, washi samples, handmade embellishments, tiny words, dried flowers... Try to include 3 different 'types' at least: so not just stickers or only paper scraps. Make a fun combo.

    • include a written card or note and make sure it's a fun bundle: make it personal. A decorated envelope counts, pretty wrapping/packaging or a ribbon etc etc. You don’t have to write a 10 page letter, but make it about an A5 sized letter. (if you need letter inspo: write about who you are, your pets, your job: what you did today, whether you'll walk to the mailbox, how many penpals you have, what your thoughts were during the making of this swap, the tea you're drinking while writing.... Etc etc)

  • my weight guideline (for stamps) is to make it around 50 grams. Bigger is allowed as well ;)

For this swap, try to match your partner's profile with the goodies at least. Project is senders choice as long but it might give you bonus points if you match it to the receiver's likes!

Most importantly: have fun! For sneakpeeks, use the hashtag #CraftClubSwap or #plbcraftclub! I'll be sharing them on patreon, soon. You can also use this project to join our giveaway, mentioned on patreon!
