BW&PP: Local author

I offered to host a few swaps for @pynart2 & took a look at the suggestions in the group forum and thought I'd start there! I hope you'll join in.

International swap, 1 partner

Find a book by a local author to your area, read the book - or listen to the audiobook - over the month, and at the end of the month, send your partner a letter about the book. IF you haven't finished the book by the end of the month, that's ok, just talk about your progress so far. :)

Include:

Book title and author (& narrator, if it's an audiobook)

Book genre

A brief review of the book and your thoughts. A paragraph is fine, you don't have to go into details.

Then:

Write a bit about your usual reading habits and tastes, favorite authors or genres. A typical letter about books for Bookworms and Pen Pals. :)

If anyone would like to host a regional or email version of this swap, go for it! :) Or ask me, I will if I have room on my dash! In the US, Independence day is July 4th, and no mail moves, so I pushed the send by date off a bit for that reason.
