Today, I made a big pot of red sauce and left it to cool off while I was gone. I put a lid on it, of course, so nothing would get it. I got home and saw the lid was on the stove but the pot was in the sink. Ah! How thoughtful my husband is! Working from home and still putting away things in the kitchen!

Eris knocked the lid off to investigate. She then played "tappy paws," where she taps her paws in something to explore, like tapping a bowl of water. But with sauce. And red sauce doesn't have much of a splash, AND it tastes good.

So he ended up tossing out the whole pot of sauce and having to hold her to wash her paws. Eris' full name is Eris the Destroyer for a reason.
