This swap is a little different from our usual ATC swaps. This time we will be making 2 different Christmas ATCs (instead of 3) to send to our partner, but we will also add a Christmas card to our envelope. The usual rules apply: an ATC is a small card, 2-1/2"x3-1/2" & decorated by painting, drawing, mixed media, fabric, etc. ATC stands for Artist Trading Card. You can choose any medium in which to make these cards. This is a little piece of art you create & then send to a partner. Back your cards with a light cardboard, such as a cereal box, for a bit of stability. And, on the back, add the swap name, your name, your Swap-Bot name, & the date you made it, to each ATC. Please also add your address to the back -- at the very least, your town & state or town & country. (I enjoy looking back at the ATCs I receive & see who made them for me. So if your name & at least your town/state/country is not on it, I will never know where it came from a year from now.) Remember, you must send something to be proud of, as these ATCs will be added to your partner's collection of ATCs. In return, you will get 2 gorgeous ATCs to add to your existing (or new) collection, plus a Christmas card! Make each ATC different -- no carbon copies here! Use different materials & spice it up! NOTE: slapping on a sticker or 3 does not make an ATC! And neither does pasting on a picture. You must do something creative to it! Any questions, please PM me. This swap is open to all members with a 4.98 or higher rating. (And, honestly, we don't have any members with lower than a 4.98 rating.) Do not disappoint me or your partner by not fulfilling your obligation to send 2 lovingly-made ATCs & a Christmas card. But, most of all, have fun! NOTE: I forgot to mention that the Christmas card -- handmade or store-bought, your choice -- should be signed by you with, perhaps, a little note for your partner. No need to put it in a separate envelope ... just put your ATCs inside the card (if they fit). Enjoy! |
