hi there! i’ve been dying to swap recipe cards for a while and figure it’s time to start a swap (i’m sure it’s been done here before, but this is my first swap i’m hosting!) make sure you have recipe cards handy! you will have one partner to send a handwritten or typed recipe card to. after signing up for the swap, leave a comment with the category you’d like a recipe from (apps, lunch, snacks, etc) and if there’s anything you cannot eat (like peanuts, dairy, meat, etc). try to take a look in the comments to help decide what type of recipe you’ll send your partner. also feel free to send more than one recipe to your partner if you’d like! please send them on a recipe card, 3x5 or 4x6 to ensure they’ll fit in a recipe card box. my mom and grandmothers kept little recipe boxes with handwritten recipe cards (on index cards and cute recipe cards) and I would love to build my own collection. please do not send your great great grandmothers super secret family recipe (unless you truly want to). feel free to send over something you’ve created yourself, a tried and true family favorite or something you love from a magazine clipping years ago. please rate your partner a five if you receive a card. I will angel if needed. let’s break out those recipes and spread some kitchen love! Discussion

Hello, I am confused. The title for this swap states "Cake Recipe Swap," but your directions state, after signing up for the swap, leave a comment with the category you’d like a recipe from (apps, lunch, snacks, etc) and if there’s anything you cannot eat (like peanuts, dairy, meat, etc). try to take a look in the comments to help decide what type of recipe you’ll send your partner." Which is it? a cake recipe or a specific category? Thanks for the clarification.

hi mspandatrain a cake of your choice. the one you do when you feel like having a coffee with cake. ask your partner if he has allergies or if your partner doesn't eat something for other reasons

I do love mocha and nuts. Not a huge fan of chocolate but if you say it's to die for, I'll try it. Please nothing fruity like lemon, etc.

Really searching for an amazing vanilla cake and frosting. Not a fan of dark chocolate. Something unique would be great if you don't have a tried and true white vanilla cake. Thank you!
