Portrait of your pet(s)

For this swap, draw or paint your pet(s) on/inside a postcard, notecard or a somewhat sturdy, card sized piece of paper. The art style is up to you: Make a sketch, ink or marker drawing, collage…

You do not need to be a great artist to participate, but put some effort into your drawing and do not just make a 3 second ballpoint doodle. The size of the drawing will of course depend on the surface (drawing on the back of a postcard? Then you’ll probably have less space; drawing on the front of a notecard? A lot of space!) but let’s say the pet portrait should be at least 5x5cm or 2x2in.

In addition to the drawing, write a couple of things about your pet, e.g. the name, how you got it, some quirks it has,… Again, this will depend on the background you are using but let’s say at least 3 infos about your pet even if you are writing on the back of a postcard!

Send your card naked or in some kind of decorated envelope!
