Symphonie did an ATC EASY ink blot fold swap recently that was really fun, so I thought I'd do a postcard version. 2 partners, one inkblot postcard to each. The easiest way I found was to do a paint-blot thingy on a piece of paper the size you want your postcard to be, unfold it and let it dry completely then glue it to a piece of sturdy cardstock. You can use acrylic medium to glue it down and seal it as well. You can also use sticky back project paper for the inkblot then peel off the back and adhere it to the cardstock . If you have the larger Xyron that does 5" stickers, you can use that to make your inkblot a sticker to attach to the cardstock. That's how I made my ATC ones. Use either ink or acrylic paint--the paint makes interesting textures to your blots too. Small drops or three or four colors work well, rather than more and they dry quicker. Have fun! Newbies are welcome, but must have a full profile, rated swappers must have at least a 4.8 rating and no recent no-sends--also, many more snail mail swaps than e-mail swaps. There is only a week between sign up and mail because these are so easy to do! You can start anytime as they are not profile-specific--just blots! |
