VC: Summer Fun Inkbox Cards!

I've been making inkbox cards, and I love, love, LOVE them! This is a new(ish) format for our groups, and the premise is that the base is a 3-inch square, with rounded corners...just like the bottom of a Ranger (Tim Holtz) ink pad. I cut my backing into squares, and then trace the corners from an ink pad and cut them accordingly. Let's make TWO of these (twice the fun!) and start with a "summer fun" theme. Gosh, there are so many ways to go with this theme: family vacations, adult pool parties, picnics... Use a sturdy backing, as you would for an ATC, and collage your backgrounds, using papers, stencils, rubber stamping, paint and paint spatters, and so forth. Embellish lightly with dimensional embellishments...nothing overly chunky or heavy. Most importantly, have a wonderful, creative time making these for your swap partner!
