MAE: TAG SWAP: 2 for 2: RED, WHITE & BLUE

This swap is for two tags, each 3”x 6” & the theme is RED, WHITE & BLUE.

The only colors you can use are RED, WHITE & BLUE. This happens to be my favorite color combination. These colors together make me happy, & remind me that summer is almost here! You don't have to be American -- or British -- to sign up for this swap, because while the colors are RED, WHITE & BLUE, the theme is your choice.

We’ll start off with a piece of cardstock or other art paper & adhere it to a sturdy background, such as a cereal box. Decorate each one in whatever medium you choose – you can use paint, book pages, die cuts, words, scrapbook paper, fabric, lace, bling, whatever materials that work for you, & create 2 different, but very lovely, tags.

You can create layers & still keep the tag flat enough for the post office!

Remember, slapping on a sticker or 3 is not good enough, & neither is pasting on a picture. You must create something beautiful with whatever materials are at hand.

Since you know the theme -- RED, WHITE & BLUE -- you can get started with making your tags right away. Then, when partners are chosen, you can send them out quickly. If you run into any problems, communicate with your partner.

Create something beautiful that you would like to receive. Be creative!

Remember to put your name & your Swap-Bot name on the back of each tag, with the swap name & date you made the tag. You can also add your address or email, but at the very least, write your town/state/country on the back of each tag. I enjoy looking at tags that other people made for me, but if your details are not on the back, I won't remember it was from you!
