Are you a Plotter or a Pantser when it comes to writing a manuscript? Plotters plan out their books with detailed outlines, character sketches and know the story from beginning to end before they write the first word. They may even use color-coordinated charts, Excel worksheets and the like to organize. Pansters write by the seat of their pants. They have no plot or outline, and may only have the barest kernel of an idea of what the story will be about or who the characters are. They launch with "what if,,, ?" and let the story unfold as it will. Which are you? Take the quiz to determine if you are a Plotter, a Panster or somewhere in between, i.e. a Planster. Post below your NaNo name, your quiz outcome, and whether you plan to take up the 50K challenge in November. I am Artisticinva on the NaNo site. I'm doing NaNo 2021 and counting down the hours until 12:01 a.m. My region has a meet and greet that starts at 11p.

Boy, were my quiz results a surprise -- both times!

I anticipated being a 100% plotter. I took the quiz (Oct. 16) the day I posted this swap and was 29% for BOTH Give me the Basics Plot Rollercoaster and 9-Step Plot Dot.
