Description:

Let's create some fun mail art with a Halloween theme for one partner

Use at least a size A6 envelope, either store bought or handmade and decorate the heck out of the front and back. You should have at least 3 different elements, which may include painting, drawing, rubber stamping, collage. You can use die cuts, stickers, washi tape, decorative papers.

Please do not just slap a bunch of things on, the goal is to cover the entire envelope and turn it into a work of mailable art.

Also, PLEASE do NOT cover your envelope in packing tape! There are ways to make sure your elements do not fall off - one tip - I apply a base of glue before applying washi tape so it does not come off. You can also seal the entire envelope in Mod Podge or PVA as well. If you have any recommendations for great mail art success, please list them below.

Please keep in mind to have a clear space for the address, we don't want to annoy our postal workers! .

Include 3 flat Halloween paper items inside your envelope. They can be anything you choose, but just check your partners profile for dislikes. Include a brief note with your name, swap name and a quick Halloween hello to your partner.

Hopefully, the envelope will only require one stamp but make sure if you are using an odd size envie, or glue a lot of items to make it heavier, that you check the weight first before mailing to make sure it is under an ounce.

If this swap gets a good response, I'd like to run it monthly.
