Description:

Not everyone celebrates Christmas this time of year, or if they celebrate Christmas, they prefer to keep religion out of their decorations and celebrations. This swap is for those of us who do not celebrate Christmas, or don't celebrate a religious Christmas holiday.

This swap is USA only, and you will have 1 partner. You will need to send a greeting card reflecting your holiday celebrations to your partner. The card needs to be a folded card in an envelope - no flat or postcards. But, it can be nicely hand made, as I know there are lots of very creative people on this site, and I've seen some very beautiful handmade cards! (Folding a sheet of paper and adding some stickers isn't a handmade card.)

Cards can reflect Hanukah, Yule, Solstice, Kwanza, Festivus, Saturnalia, or similar holiday observations. Snowmen, snowflakes, holiday trees and winter animals are all ok, as is Santa. Cartoon characters, general winter images and 'seasons greetings/happy holidays' are all welcome. I hope that makes sense, and if you have any questions, please send me a PM and ask! I might take a few days to reply, but I will reply as soon as I can.

This is a quick turn around swap so that we can all get our cards before the holidays start. You should have your cards ready and some stamps so you can write out the card and drop it in the mail quickly!

I enjoy sending and receiving cards, but don't usually host public swaps this time of year for fear of flakers. So, I've decided that for this swap, you must have a very well filled out profile (details about yourself, not just a bunch of pictures), AND you need to have been a member of swap-bot for at least 2 years in order to join. I am open to doing private swaps, so if you don't meet the 2-year membership requirement (or if you are out of the USA) and would like to do a private swap, please send me a message, and maybe we can work something out.

All swappers for this swap need to be located in the USA, be a member for at least 2 years, no unexplained 1's from active members on their profiles, and no fixable 3's. Profiles must be very well filled out with details about what you like to swap and what your interest are. Be sure to follow the swap bot do's and don'ts included under the 'help' tab! This swap is NOT for newbies!

Be sure to include the swap title AND your swap-bot ID. Your partner shouldn't have to hunt through swaps to rate you for the swap! You may wish to include the swap name and your ID on the outside envelope as well, but it should also be inside the swap. Please be sure to rate your partner when you open the card!

Envelopes do NOT need to be decorated! (Many holiday card envelopes are already fully decorated!).

You are NOT required to add extras to the card! Check your partner's profile to see if they would like any extras before adding them to the envelope!

If you have any questions please send me a PM. If you leave a comment below, I probably won't see it until I've assigned partners. I always forget to check. But I do try to check my messages daily.

I angel all swaps I host, and do my best to vet the swaps. If I ban someone, I try to leave a reason as to why. It's always better to ask ahead of time, though, if you aren't sure if you have any questions. If you are flaked on, please contact me as soon as you have rated a 1 and I will angel the swap.

Can it just be "Happy Holidays" /Season Greetings? I'm not religious but I still celebrate the holidays.
