By request, this is a SNAIL MAIL version of the [email swap](http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/307096previously posted in the group. :) This will be International, and you'll have 1 partner. :) Thanksgiving in the USA is celebrated on the last Thursday of November. I love Thanksgiving - it's a day to stop and think of what we have and to be thankful for what we have in our life. (Well, to ME it's about thinking about what I have to be grateful for - to most it seems to be the day to start binging on Christmas and shopping! :( Not in my family!) This year has been a challenge, am I right? But we all still have plenty to be thankful for. So I'm going to try a series of swaps here for us to recall what we have to be thankful for in life, and in this past year. This round will be about the libraries we are thankful for or ways in which we are thankful for libraries. In an letter or note card to your partner, talk about at least 3 items you are thankful for in relation to libraries. This will be a bit more open ended, and open for just about anything related to libraries. You can talk about favorable experiences with librarians or visiting libraries, or ways you have relied on the library. Or if you want to be specific to this year, you can talk about how you are thankful for libraries this year, maybe curbside pick up, or e-libraries or anything along those lines. If anyone has other topics they'd like to see for this series, or if you have any questions/concerns, please Send me a PM and I'll reply just as soon as I can. :) And I must say, I am grateful for all of you! All of you in this group keep me coming back to swap-bot & this is my happy place. :) |
