Fabric Needle and Sewing Book

This swap would be a good idea for a gift for a seamstress or anyone who needs to sew from time to time. We will make a needle book using fabric bits and bobs. The cover will be 5” long or tall and 8” wide. The cover is sort of like a mug rug folded in the middle. Inside you will need 2 pieces of fabric or felt to make 2 pages. The pages will be 4 1/2” tall and 7 1/2” wide. This will be folded in the middle to make the book 5” x 4” when closed. The pages will be decorated with bits and bobs of lace or ribbon, buttons or pins. Small pockets to hold safety pins or small scissors. When closed you should attach a button and a piece of cord to close your needle book. This will be a little more time consuming so a longer time will be needed to gather your supplies and come up with your design. Google needle books or look on you tube for ideas.
