Description:

Everyone has some buttons in their stash. They are lovely little things to use for accents in our swaps. So versatile, they can be used as they are, stacked, layered with press-on jewels and dots or incorporated into your designs as flower petals or repeating motifs. They can also be made into charms. This link I found shows you how to make simple little charms to accent your journal and tags or embellish other swaps you are working on. Here is a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRlRT384neE

We will have one partner for this swap and we will make three little charms, with at least one to three buttons for each charm. The idea is to have a small embellishment so your charms shouldn’t be too large. You can decided what buttons and colours to use. Have a little fun with this and think outside the box, why not ad beads or a bow or perhaps make a little chain of buttons. You don’t have to use wire for your charm you can use string if that is all you have. Once you have made your charms, photograph them and send the photo to your partner.

If there are any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Jane, Nickalli or myself.

Hello Sarah, lovely to see you on here again. From my country, Australia, our postage parcels is now Sea Mail only! Due to Corona. So our air services overseas are pretty much on hold. I cannot speak for anywhere else. Jane
