Description:

This month’s critter is the Butterfly, on a back ground of YOUR country's flag.

So, you’ll need a drawing, stamped image or printed image of a Butterfly that you can color. And by color I mean really wacky colours - pink stripes, blue polka-dots. It doesn’t have to be as intricate as the picture above!!! (I just found that on the internet and thought it was cute.)

This picture has the Canadian Flag because I'm in Canada. If I was in the States, I'd have used the American Flag, no matter which country I was sending to.

And this Butterfly will be on a background of YOUR country's flag, or more than one of your flag. Your flag doesn’t have to be all nicey-nice like that. It can be a drawing or it can be YOUR country's flag that you’ve cut from a magazine and glued on. It should be the proper colours, though.

Then you can glue eyes on the butterfly, or glue a ribbon border around the ATC or add some kind of embellishment and you’re done!

The ATC has to be in portrait mode or orientation. That is the 3.5” is the side and the 2.5 is the top. And it has to be done on sturdy paper like a cereal box cut to size. And of course, no sticker slapping.

So, here we are in 2020… the year to keep from pulling your hair out while you try to create lovely ATC’s within the boundaries of the rules. So, please join in. And have fun. And give hearts because you know after this, your partner will need them. :)

Happy Birthday USA and Canada!

I have a suggestion - why not have the flag of your PARTNER on the ATC? It would probably mean more to somebody in the States to get their own flag, as it would mean more to the person in Canada to have their own flag on the ATC. I think, anyway.
