The person who inspires me the most is probably my aunt because she is the type of person I want to be. A few years ago when I got really sick she went out of her way to help me and my parents during that difficult time. She also went out of her way when my mom's parents died (she is from my dad's side) to attend the funeral and help us out, again. She is just a really nice and giving person that I aspire to be like one day.

In life I look up to Jesus Christ! He has helped me through bad times and been there in the good times! He is always with me. He inspires me everyday to be kind to those I come in contact with. A smile or a simple hello to someone doesn't take much, but can mean the world to the person receiving it!

I think it is my mom. She has been through so much in her life and she is still standing. Still having fun. I sometimes take life way to serious and she is making a party out of it. I really hope i can do the same thing when i get older. To let emotions go or just make something negative a positive thing. She is always there when i need her of when other people need her. And being in her presence makes me relaxed.

I most look up to my daughter because she is my hero. She has the strength and confidence to handle any situation thrown at her. I can honestly say I would go to her FIRST for any advice on general things and she is still in high school.
I also look up to my best friend of 20 years. She is so sweet, considerate, funny, courageous, and organized. Being organized is something I'm always trying to improve in my life. Also, being spontaneous and she brings that to my life, as well. :)

My sister is my inspiration - she has always worked and busted her butt with having at least two jobs at a time. Then too, when her and her husband built their home, she did just as much work on it as he did ... she's a strong, hard-working lady who also makes time to watch her grand-kids as well. She was recently widowed (in April of this year) and it was really hard on her but she still perseveres and keeps on keeping on. We're the only girls in our family and it's her that I can talk to when I need someone to listen. I'm so blessed to have her! (By the way - she was born on Easter Sunday so she was my Easter present when I was 6 years old ... I always tell her that she was better than chocolate any day! lol)

Who inspires me? Actually my boyfriend inspires me a lot. He is very creative eventough he doesn't know. He also works so hard to achive his goals in his hard studies. He makes a better person out of me because I am emotional and impatient and he teaches me how to calmly sit down and work things out.

My Mom inspires me. We are very different and sometimes that means we get on each other's nerves, but a lot of her traits that are different from mine are the ones I wish I had or had more of. She is so self-disciplined and never stops, always going and taking care of everything and everyone. Now that I'm older, when I notice something about myself that I got from her, it makes me happy. :)

My mom is a SUPER HERO!! Seriously she really is. She raised 3 amazing kids. and has 5 amazing grand kids. My mom was my fighter through all of my mental health disabilities and then again when my brother endured brain damage while snowboarding at the age of 16. She fought for equality in the classroom and in life and never treated us differently then regular kids.

My mom passed in 2015. Though it was hard and tough I endured much and she has taught me even in death things I didn't know like how to live without her. Which I struggle with daily.

I am now Married and My Mother in Love is my best friend I run to her with all my problems and all my happies. She is becoming a great friend of mine!!

Who inspires me? I would say that all people from any race or any class that helps someone in need or stops to listen or does that little extra something for a person. I think that in everyday life there are little miracles or moments when you can add a smile to someone's life or help them when they really need it and don't know where to turn. I think everyone is capable of this and if you are lucky you will see it happen, but mostly these are unsung heroes who look out for others. They inspire me to appreciate everyone and help anyone in any way big or small.

The person who inspires me the most is definitely my boyfriend. He has been through a lot of tough situations but he always works hard to get through things. I'm the type to easily give up but he helps me stay positive. He also is very open with his feelings and is not afraid to tell me exactly what he is feeling. I have a hard time expressing myself and it's nice to have someone model how to express themselves in a healthy way. He also encourages me to better myself every day! I couldn't ask for a better man <3

My best friend Charlene inspires me. She is a single mom of 6 children. I have known her since we were both pregnant with our 4th child. I have seen her go through a terrible divorce, be homeless with 6 kids, go to school while working, to become a tself sufficient RN. It has been amazing to watch her grow. She is an amazing woman with so much sunshine in her smile and attitude. She has had a lot of struggles and challenges but always faces them with faith and hope.

The person who inspires me most is my best friend. She has an incredible strength that helps her overcome and get through all sorts of difficult times while learning and growing wisely from each one. And if that wasn't enough, she also has such a big heart and is so kind to everyone she meets. She brought my current group of closest friends together and she's pretty much our social glue! We trust her judgement indisputably, and we know that if she doesn't like someone, we have to be careful around them (she almost never dislikes people; she has so much love to give!). The fact that she can be so loving despite the things she's overcome never ceases to amaze me, and I look up to her so much.

I am also inspired by my nephew. When I listen to his stories of him and his friends, I feel so hopeful for the generations to come. He's a big sweetheart who doesn't let himself be pushed around. He has an extremely rare early-onset of schizophrenia, and even though it's difficult, he listens to his doctors, takes the medications he's given, and carries on with his day. He's so strong and I look up to him in my own mental health journey. As I help finance his medical fees and schooling fees, he is also my source of inspiration for when I have trouble working or I'm losing my motivation. I think of him and get right back to work!

The person who inspires me the most is my mom. I know it's cliche, but it's true. My mom went through a lot as a child - her mom wasn't exactly a role model and her dad left her mom when she was young (not in my mom's best interest). After her own mom kidnapped her and took her to a place her dad wouldn't ever find her again, my mom decided that joining the military was the only way to get away from her broken family.

Now, being an adult - my mom is a very successful woman with 4 children and a loving husband. She has raised all of us to not be little ***** and I'm grateful for that. She taught me that anything is possible if you put the work into it. That's how I became a published author and have a family of my own. I will always be grateful for my mom.

I really enjoy writing, and cannot remember a time when I didn't. In recent years my focus has been on cats, and especially my beloved BabyCat. Through my writing her memory will live on and will become an immortal tribute to my love for her, and to her unconditional love and devotion to me. My BabyCat was the love of my life and is my constant inspiration.

I can hardly believe I wrote this over 20 years ago. My BabyCat still inspires me to write and to create. My other inspiration is my elve. He runs around in my head and stomps through my brain, inspiriting me to write his story.

My other inspirations are Queen Hatshepsut and Sappho.

I should have added that because of BabyCat's inspiration I have won eleven ribbons for my short stories and poetry from the Ventura County Fair.
