Description:

Thanks to @institches for keeping the idea alive and allowing me to do a variation of her swap!

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION as I've change it from the last one.

This swap is USA only due to my postage budget.

I have too much "stuff". Alot of slightly used /some new stuff thatā€™s either been sent to me that I canā€™t use or itā€™s time to move on.

The lucky winner will be whoever is my partner after I hit the ā€œassign partnersā€ button. I will post the winner in the comment section below.

TO ENTER: Just say hi and put a swapbot memory on there. Any posts after I post the winner's name do not count and can receive a lower rating.

HERE IS THE REQUIREMENT: When your partner is assigned, check in the comments section below to see if your partner did indeed post a goal(s) comment in the comment section. If yes, they get a 5 rating. A comment but not the required prompt? Then that's a 3. No comment at all? A big fat 1 is what they get. REMINDER-any comment after the winning post is subject to a lower rating.

PLEASE NOTE:THIS IS AN ELECTRONIC SWAP. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO SEND ANYTHING IN THE SNAIL MAIL AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING IN THE SNAIL MAIL. THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM IN A PAST SWAP.

I'm putting this as a Type 1 swap as everyone will be reading and rating and I am the only one mailing.

I'm going to allow new, unrated swappers in the USA this time. But you MUST have a well filled profile to participate. I consider a well filled profile one that I have to scroll down the page to read. If no filled profile, you will be removed from the swap.

I'll be hosting this swap again (as money allows)

I am unclear what a "face swap memory" is, but I am saying HI! My goal for 2020 is to declutter and downsize all my "stuff"

Hello!! A swap-bot memory of mine is having my partner send me a package and letter in return after a swap! She didn't have to and I thought it was so kind and considerate. Now we are planning on sending more to each other :)

HišŸ’ A swap-bot memory of mine is meeting a very special person at a time when I felt I was at my lowest. I reached out to her on several days and not just once and she never said, no, or I'm busy , not once. I am very grateful to her and to swap bot šŸ˜‡

Hi! I'm new to this so I don't have a lot of swap-bot memories, but I had a lot of fun decorating my first letter & small package to send away.

Cindymt 01/31/2020 #

Hi! A swapbot memory of mine was my first swap! It had to do with sending partners 20 inspirational quotes to each other. I sent so much time on that and had so much fun! I am glad I am back :)

I've only been on swap-bot for about a year now, but I have participated in some pretty amazing swaps. I think the of the most memorable swaps I was in was one of the pick 3 swaps. I had received a small package from this incredibly sweet lady who took the time to not only decorate the most beautiful envelope I ever seen in my life, but also included some pretty amazing goodies that I still love to this day. She mainly sent me postcards with paintings from favorite artists, some wonderful handmade envelopes, and some lovely note cards. She also sent me a beautifully written card and even included some extra goodies on top of that! It was an amazing swaps and I think of it every time I participate in a swap. I'm so thankful to be on a site like swap-bot and all of the amazing people I've met since I've been on it. God bless you and all the people participating!^-^

I think one of my favorite swaps was the "Do Not Open Till Christmas" swap. The package had some really gorgeous calligraphy on it, and it was really hard not to open it when I got it! When Christmas did arrive, my partner had sent way more than what was expected! There was a harry potter poster, some tea packets, swapbot address labels. It was a very nice surprise!!!! I also had lots of fun creating a package to send to my partner.

My favorite memory is the great packages I have gotten through the years on here. I even like the repeating swaps every month or year by the same host. Keeps the fun swaps alive. Can't wait to enjoy future swap memories with others.

Hi! I have many memories and they all involve having fun and meeting the most awesome people who are on Swap-bot. I love swaps whether letter, PC or e-swaps ... they just make me happy! Also I have gotten some cool postcards from the swaps on here as well.

I haven't met anyone in person that I've met on Swap-bot but I think it'd be fun if anyone were on here that lived around where I do. (Maybe that can be for a future memory though, huh?! lol)

I've been a member of Swap-bot since 2007 and am back from a break. In general when I was swapping here in the past I encountered many kind and thoughtful people. Swap-bot is also what got me started in making ATCs/ACEOs, handmade postcards (had fun in the Handmade Postcard Club? before I left for a couple years), and mail art... I don't think I would really know about art in those formats (or perhaps would've found out about them much later) if it weren't for Swap-bot. I've received many lovely swaps and participated in some unique, fun ones. Somebody blew me away by her calligraphy/penmanship on an envelope (which sort of got me inspired to learn more about lettering/calligraphy) and a long time ago I really enjoyed a swap that was called something like, "Paper Surprise Ball." There are probably a lot of memories I'm forgetting, but overall my experience here has been overwhelmingly positive. Thanks for the giveaway!

HI! When I first started Swap-bot one of my memories were how hard it was to get started. So many wonderful swap I was dropped from because I was "newbie". I was very discouraged at first, but I kept with it. It wasn't until I started hosting my own swaps did I understand the risk and responsibility that came along with running such swaps. I'm glad I stuck it through and have a better understanding of how things run. I'm glad to member a member here and part of a wide community!

Hey everyone....my favorite Swap-bot memory has to be when I met a swap partner in San Francisco. My partner lives there and so does my daughter. So when I went to visit my daughter my partner and I arranged to meet. We did meet and had a very nice time. I hope the next time I go to SF - hopefully in the Spring - we will meet again šŸ˜€

A swap-bot memory of mine was meeting my close friend Vanessa. I love sending gifts on the holidays. Another swap-bot memory of mine was hosting my first swap. I was really scared but once I started I was addicted. My first swap was a simple notecard swap.

Hi all! My favorite swap-bot memory is discovering this fun site and getting my first swap in the mail (a postcard). It has been wonderful to ''meet" fellow swappers who share similar interests. It's a great place to find inspiration and be creative. I'm happy to be a part of all this!

vontakk 02/ 3/2020 #

One of my favorite swap memories and the best one I've ever hosted was that everyone sent a card to my best friend who had anaplastic ependymomas (one of the fastest forms of childhood cancer) and was paralyzed and home bound at one point. He absolutely loved getting snail mail and it really brightened his week to get so much mail. We continued on the tradition of writing each other regularly from then until he passed. It's what keeps me here today! ā¤ļø
