Description: | |
This is a one-time swap that was previously done in March of 2013. The original poster is no longer on swap-bot and so I thought I would revive the swap, though make a change or two to it. Originally the swap was done via snail-mail and I’ve decided instead to make it an e-mail swap (feel free to send either via e-mail OR use Swap-bot’s message system to send it if you’d prefer.) So, here goes about the swap … Even on the worst of days, there are little bits of joy. For an entire week, write down three good things that happened every day. Big or small. Sometimes you might have to really think stretch to find three, I know how it can be. Please write details about the three things that you’ve chosen every day for your “three good things”! NOTE: You can start the day you sign up for the swap, as long as you do your 7 days in a row. Did someone make you happy in some way? Describe who it was and what they said or did that made you happy. (Yes, details are a requirement – however how much detail you go into is entirely up to you but I do not want one or two word answers and even one or two sentence answers, I feel isn't enough detail.) When you join, please put yourself into this swap and have fun with it. It'll be so much more fun reading our partners answers if there are details rather than just a few words, right? Maybe you saw something that made you smile and gave you joy – perhaps a deer in your back yard? A pretty bird in a tree? Or whatever it may have been that put a smile on your face, tell your partner about it in as much detail as you can. It also can be something as simple as your yard or your home themselves and if so, details on that too about what makes you happy with it. If you should miss a day, then please add a day onto the end so you get 7 days … you can do this without being late as I’ll make the “send by date” a little over a week. Please make sure that you include the name of the swap and your Swap-bot user name somewhere in the e-mail so it’ll be easy to rate you. I will check profiles and ratings before assigning partners. Take note: If I were to have to ban anyone, I would gladly do a private one on one swap with them if they’d be up for that. Please rate a 5 if your partner sent on time and included 21 good things (3 each day for 7 days), giving hearts is entirely up to you but personally as for hearts, mine will be given only if the partner has fully went into details as much as possible and I can see that there was real effort put into the swap. (This was inspired by the original hosts physics teacher who had them do this for a month for extra credit. The theory is that gratitude amplifies happiness, so if we focus on the good, we see the good more often.) |
