TPS: Weave Your Prints

I am in love with weaving. There is something very relaxing about it, and the results can be such a surprise!

For this swap, you will use strips of gelli-prints to weave a background for a 5 x 7" card. Your partner will be able to use your background to add other elements and either cut it down to ATC size, or use as is.

Use as many or as few colors as you like. Make the strips as narrow or wide as you'd like, but have at least 5 strips. You can leave some blank space between the strips or butt them up close together. There is no right or wrong way!

This is a great way to use up the prints you aren't so crazy about. It's always surprising to me how paired with another color, I like those "mistakes" again!

Once you have woven your pieces, adhere your weaving to a lightweight card stock so all the pieces are stuck down. If you don't glue them down, they may fall apart when the card is cut.
