Description: | |
Send your partner a handmade DIY postcard of your choice. Use any medium or combination of mediums, including digital. Your own photo turned into a postcard is an example of a DIY postcard. Make it postcard weight, sturdy enough to go through the mail. There are adhesive postcard backings you can buy or make your own backing. Write a greeting on the back of the postcard. Perhaps, explain how you made your postcard. Any theme. Have fun. Make something you're proud to share and you hope will delight your partner. If you're a newbie (no rating yet) and want to swap a DIY postcard, I will set up a private swap. It counts towards your rating. Message me. Important administration stuff:Nudge I send out nudge 'please rate' messages around the one month mark after everyone has mailed their cards. Please, no serial nudging, it makes my hosting job harder. Rate quickly so it doesn't end up forgotten in a pile of postcards. If I have had to nudge you in more than one of my previous swaps I may 'ban'. If you haven't received a postcard around the one month mark, let me know. Blank comments When rating please comment on the card received. Let's make our partners feel like their postcard matters. So please, no blank comments. Example of what you could write: Thank you for {describe the item}. It brightened my day...Thank you for the Van Gogh sunflower postcard. It brightened my day. Finished I check to see that everyone is rated and will add a "Finished" stamp to the Discussion section when all postcards are sent, received and rated. If you are removed from the participants' list it may likely be for:
