Trace your own hands or those of your child, friend, neighbor or spouse. Please use thin card stock or hefty copy paper.

Decorate your hands with paint, ink, markers, sketches, illustration, collage or your favorite art media not listed. Cut out the finished, decorated hand. Add a quote, or a fortune, or a favorite poem. Sign the undecorated side with your name and user name.

Send one hand to one partner and the other hand to your other partner. You can add this to an existing journal, or, if this swap proves popular, you can collect and assemble a hand-shaped book.
