~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For this swap you will make 2 ATCs for 1 partner. The design, theme, techniques, and embellishments you use are entirely up to you, the only "RULE" you must stick to is that there is at least some of each primary color on the card somewhere, and that the primary colors are the ONLY colors used when making your cards. In case anyone is not sure what I mean by primary colors, I mean the colors red, yellow, and blue are the only colors allowed to be used when making the cards, and each of those three colors must be on the card somewhere, even if only the tiniest amount of one color and a lot of the other two colors is how you choose to go. Other than that, every other choice when making these cards is completely up to you.
Have fun while making these and get creative!!! Don't just throw some stickers onto some cardstock and stuff them in the envelope and send, put some thought and effort into it. Don't send out something to your partner that you wouldn't enjoy receiving yourself.
This is an INTERNATIONAL swap, because postage shouldn't be too outrageous.
This swap is open to all swappers with a 4.75 rating or better. Beginners/Newbies who have filled out their profile are also welcome to join.
I never sign up until I have made the ATCs for a swap. That way I know I can follow thru on the commitment. It took me a while to come up with 2 designs I liked. Who thought that it would be so hard to stick to 3 colors and not use any black or white. I finally finished making them. Once I looked at yellow as my white and blue as my black everything fell into place. Hope my partner will like them.
I'm sure your partner will enjoy them very much. I love the approach you took by looking at the yellow as white and the blue as your black, I can DEFINITELY see how that would make it so much easier. Thanks for joining!
is it allowed to use different shades the colors?
As long as it is red, blue, and yellow you can use it... don't use pink for red...cuz it's not red. I don't see why you couldn't use lighter or darker blue, yellow, etc. You can tell if it's blue, yellow, or red...Use your own discretion and be creative!
update: my cards ARE mailed, but I got to the PO after they emptied their stuff for the day and they told me that it won't go out 'til Monday, so it'll be postmarked a day late...sorry!
