I don't know about you, but my kids are getting jealous of my happy mails !
They are very crafty too so they really want to participate. I'm sure other parents here in swap-bot have kids who want to swap.
So, why not create a swap just for them. Let them swap together !
For this #1, I asked my girl Olivia what she would like to swap. Her answer is : a handmade card and a decorated envelope. Ok, let's do this !
When signing, write down in the comments the name of the kid you're signing for, his/her age, and his/her favorite color (or the color s/he want to receive in this swap). You can add your kid's theme preferences (pirates, dinosaurs, pokemon, princesses, ...). But except the color, the card will actually be sender's choice.
Your child will make one card (4x6) for his/her partner, using only the color picked by the partner.
Put the card in the envelope. The adult may be the one who write the address if needed. The envelope will be decorated with doodling of the same color by your kid
Any medium allowed : papers, stamping, drawing. I think stickers slapping can be allowed for little kids, but I really think your kid should be asking, consent or at least understand the swap, so signing for a toddler doesn't seem right to me. No maximum age, teenager can have fun too (they accept to receive maybe something from a 5 y.o. kid, that's the game). No adults though.
If you have several kids, you can write their names & preferences in comments but it will be sender's choice to make one or several cards. If the kid want to make only one card, he/she will pick one of the names.
If all of your kids want to make a card they can too, so send two or more cards to one partner. But they may receive only one in return.
If you receive a handmade card in a decorated envelope for your kid, rate a 5. I don't want any 3 rating for not liking the design. It's kid crafting !
No newbie (10 swaps completed at least), no recent 3 or 1.
If you have questions, feel free to ask in comments.
