. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TRUE CONFESSION: My needles live in an ugly plastic container. When I take them out for projects they end up stuck in the arm of my chair until the piece is finished and the supplies put away. This is not good. I need a needle book! I found this cute and easy needle book pattern on the Ann Wood Handmade blog. I'm going to make this book. I hope you'll join me! Your needles will thank you :-) This swap has been edited and the "special" materials and letter requirements removed. Please follow the directions as outlined in the tutorial linked above using fabrics of your choice. If you like the idea of including heirloom or sentimental materials, you can, of course, use them in creating this swap or stitch yours into the book you receive. Thanks to everyone who provided input! Note: Ann Wood asks you to subscribe to the blog to download the pdf tutorial and templates. I did that and immediately received the link for this project. The pdf is well done and I think I can easily unsubscribe if I don't want to hear from them again. If you'd rather not do this, you can still read the directions on the blog and I can help you with anything that may not be clear without the download. This swap is for the book only. There is no requirement for including needles or other sewing doodads. |
