Story Starters

Let's get those creative muscles moving in the new year. For this international swap, you will mail via post to two partners a short story using one of the story starters listed below AND include a list of five story starters for your partners that you create.

Part A: The short story you write should be a minimum of two pages and no more than 12 pages. It can be part of a work in progress or something new, but should begin with one of the lines listed below.

Part B: The five story starters you create for your partners should reflect their interests. (Look to profiles and the introductions in our group forum for hints. You can also post below the type of writing you're doing.)

The story starters:

1) From the first, I knew he was ...

2) Lightning hit the car ...

3) This wouldn't be the first, or last, time she had to...

4) No one would ever know if ...

5) Two men in uniform stood at the front door ...

To participate: Group membership and completed profile; 4.8 rating or higher. Newbies to the group are welcome with completed profile.
