Vintage Valentine Matchbox

To begin, the rules:

You must have completed no less than 5 swaps by the time partners are assigned.

You must have a 4.9 rating or higher.

You may not have a history of any ones.

I reserve the right to ban anyone who seems sketchy.

Sorry, now to the fun stuff! Decorate a 32 count matchbox vintage/retro style in a Valentine theme. Be sure to line your box with some soft fabric or pretty paper as well. If you like, you may make your matchbox using a template such as the one here. Old greeting cards and frozen food boxes work great for these.

Next, make a teeny, tiny Valentine card to fit inside the box and then include as many little items as you can fit such as:

buttons, lace, ribbons, candy, tea, flower petals, perfume samples, jewelry, small vintage photos/ephemera, stickers, charms, tiny animals, mini soaps...

Try to keep everything Valentine's related and fit just as much as you possibly can into the box along with the mini card. Be sure to include a variety of tiny things (i.e. not all craft supplies, etc.).

This is going to be so much fun, so be thoughtful. Make something really nice, send it on time so that your partner can get it by Valentine's Day, and rate promptly. I can't afford to angel, but if you're a flaker I will do all I can to report you! (Although I'm sure I won't have to - right?)
