Description:

Join us as we make three inchies to trade. This is a great swap for previous inchie makers and an easy way to introduce yourself to the art.Come on....you know you want to! Make three inchies to celebrate summer. Make them bright and happy. This gives you a lot of latitude. What reminds you of summer: ice cream, fishing, flowers, picnics, kites, walks, friends at beach? Almost anything goes. We will send each other 3 to be used in binders, displayed on an easel or used as a focal point of a small card. [Feel free to make a comment below to say what you do with inchies.] DIRECTIONS: YOU CAN PAINT, DRAW, RUBBER STAMP OR USE FOUND ART FROM MAGAZINES GLUED TO CARD STOCK. MUST HAVE NEAT EDGES. Use sandpaper or emery board. You may take a larger image and cut down with a paper cutter or punch. An inchie rubber stamp is not needed. Base should be a one-inch square. It is recommended you have a couple of layers. I happen to have a bunch of punches of 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 7/8 inch. My MAIN image may be just 1/2 inch! Paper cutters help you cut strips and then squares. You can decorate your way with tiny embellishments: strips of ribbon, sequins or Neuvo drops. [Sorry no photos but you can look up inchies on line.] Send three in a folded piece of card stock with fold at bottom to hold inchies. Your package should be fine with one stamp if packaged this way and not too bulky.. Be sure to identify Swap and your username. {Sometimes I put an extra piece of paper in the envy with details or attach tiny note to back of inchie. I print on computer and use the smallest font on a 1x2 in. typing paper template, fold and glue.] If you receive 3 inchies, you should rate a 5. Come join the fun and contact me with questions. I have to warn you, these can become addictive!

I do a few things with inchies: 1. I use a 1-inch punch to make a window on the top of a note card 3 1/2 x 5 inches or 4 1/4 by 5 1/2, and put an inchie with glue through the window so it sticks on inside card but shows through to front of card. 2. I put them on an easel glued to a canvas mat. 3. I put them in a binder in clear stamp holders. Fun to flip through. 4. I trade them 5. I add to an ATC Lynn
