Description:

If I haven't babbled at you about the Write On Challenge yet, you can find details HERE I look forward to April for the Write On Challenge more than I ever did Christmas or my birthday as a kid - or an adult! So, let's get started! :)

The basic goal to the Write On Challenge is to write 30 letters in 30 days. You MAY buy a Write On kit, but it's not necessary for any of these swaps. Letters do not need to be handwritten, and you don't necessarily need to MAIL the letters. You can write a letter to your future self, etc, and keep it. So id you don't have 30 pen pals or friends, it's ok, you can still participate. :)

For this International swap, you will have 2 partners, and will write them each a letter to a prompt of your choosing. (prompts below) This does NOT need to be an introduction letter, and you are NOT required to reply - but you DO need to rate your partner when you receive your letter. If you feel a connection and would like to continue exchanging letters, you should contact your partner to set that up. But this is NOT a pen pal swap.

You can use the same prompt for each letter, or use a different one for each. It's up to you. Letters may be typed or handwritten, and stationery is optional. I don't want to put restrictions like that, and length of the letter is up to you as well. If you would like to use a note card, that is fine, but this is NOT a post card swap.

Last day to sign up will be March 31st, and partners will be assigned April 1st. You do not need to write one letter per day, but don't start before April 1st.

Letter Prompts to choose from: (This letter will be sent to your partner. If the letter prompt is addressed to a neighbor, etc, just pretend.)

*Write a letter to a neighbor, telling them how much you enjoy their yard, tree, garden, etc ...

*Write a letter to a company that designed a product you like.

*Tell your partner about a holiday you are making up all on your own to celebrate a memory you have.

*Tell your partner about an early childhood memory.

*Tell your partner how you would like to celebrate your half-birthday. (For example, my birthday is in January, so my half birthday would be in July).

*Write a letter in a playful or unconventional way, maybe using your non-dominant hand or write backwards so the recipient must read it using a mirror.

Recap - International swap. Two partners. One letter - handwritten or typed - to your partner using one of the prompts listed above. Length and stationery is your choosing. Send on time, rate your partner.

Questions, comments, please PM me and I will answer as quickly as possible!

If you are 'watching' I would appreciate a note left in the comments below. Thanks!

There is a series of 3 Write On letter swaps being hosted in the public forum by @shinyserra if you want more letter swaps! Although she is not a group member, I have swapped with her and been in round robin journal swaps with her, so she gets my 'thumbs up'!
