Description: | |
Dr. Seuss' birthday is March 2nd, and there is a National Reading Month program currently for children in the US. Why not do a swap? :) In a letter - or on a note card - to you one partner, International, tell the story about how you learned to read, what memories you have of reading as a child, when your love for books and reading started. If you have a favorite book that you'd like to talk about, or a favorite Dr Seuss book you'd like to talk about, please share that as well. :) If you have children in your life that you have helped to start reading, and would like to share, please do so! Not everyone in the group has children, so I don't want to limit the experiences. :) Whenever possible, your letter should be handwritten. But if you need to type, that's ok. If you wish to use stationery or decorate paper, that's great! But it's not a requirement for the swap. The requirement for the swap is a letter about your memories and experiences of learning to read. I'm not going to set a limit to the length of the letter, but please take your time and tel the story to your partner. If you have any questions or comments about the swap or requirements, please send me a PM. I"m terrible at remembering to check comments. :( |
