A copy of the message Rachel Johnson (the creator of swap-bot) sent this e-mail to everyone about a couple of days ago or so.

Hello swappers,

This message is in regard to the INDIA GODDESSES & GODS swap on Swap- bot.com hosted by solarts. Each participant in that swap has been sent the same message.

I have been contacted by the swap coordinator, solarts, as well as a few participants because of the partner glitch. It looks like the computer messed up and assigned an incorrect number of partners. We are not sure what caused the glitch and I am sorry for my delayed response.

I am currently hesitant to delete or reassign partners for the swap because some members have already sent their postcards. I am sorry the swap did not work out as planned and I hope that each participant will be understanding when it comes to ratings. My suggestion is to not give any poor (1 or 3) ratings for this swap - only give positive ratings if you receive a nice postcard from your partner. That way, this messy swap will not count against anyone's swap rating, but senders can still be rewarded for following through.

Again, I am very sorry the swap got messed up. Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy future swapping,

Rachel Johnson rachel@swap-bot.com www.swap-bot.com
